Career
As a singer and music director honey Singh made his music debut in the 2010 Punjabi film punjaban, where he worked as a music director. The following year, he composed music for his first Hindi film shakal pe mat ja and the Punjabi film Jihane mera dil lutia. In 2012, mirza co-directed by jatinder Singh shah in the untold story, which was his acting debut. In the same year, he did the super hit movie cocktail song main sharabi starring with saif ali khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty. After that, he followed three more hit numbers rani tu mein raja in son of sardaar, lonely in khiladi 786, and kikli kalerdi in luv shuv tey chicken khurana.
Honey Singh has also acted in Punjabi as well as Bollywood films. He played the role of deesha as a mad gangster, in 2002 by baljit singh deo in mirza the untold story. Although the role was only a cameo role, he won the PTC film award for the best male debut.
