Career
He started his career as a producer in 1994 by producing an Indian TV series Andaz. In 1999, he made his debut as a music director in movies, starting with Pyar Kiya to Darna kya. He worked as a backup vocalist for a few tracks. He was the lead playback singer in the 2005 film ashiq banaya aapne.
January 19, 1999, he released his debut album, aap ka surroor. He made his debut as a producer as well as story writer in 2011 with the movie damadamm. Controversies
It was 2009 when Salman khan came as a guest in a reality show where Himesh was the judge. There was a fight between the two. But the fight was only for a short time as both later patched up. Himesh has once been accused of copyright infringement. His most popular song tanhaiyaan from the movie aap kaa surroor was initially composed for the movie Milenge Milenge 2010.
