Career
Rahul Tewatia made his first-class debut in Ranji Trophy (2013-14 seasons) playing for Haryana against Karnataka, but did not shine. He Played for the India List A team too, but all his performances were just average between 2013-2019 but did come up with a few performances, which caught the eye of the Rajasthan Royals, who bid for him in the 2014 IPL auction.
Here too, he did not set high standards, and he was made to sit out for most of the IPL matches. The Kings Punjab took him under their wings in 2017, and in the following year, he joined the Delhi Daredevils with his price tag at Rs. Three cr. He was with them till 2018, and Rajasthan Royals effected a transfer and picked him for the same amount of Rs. 3Cr.
This move by the royals has done them good in the ongoing IPL tournament at UAE.
