| Debut | • At an early age, he was a part of a band where he later became the lead singer when he started writing ‘funny songs’. In an Exeter Group Inc., Kanan Gill worked as a software engineer for three years. He participated in a competition named Punchline Bangalore where he won. Another one was, Comedy Store in Mumbai, where he also won. He decided to quit his job and proceed to pursue a career in comedy. • Gradually, he gained popularity with the viral YouTube series Pretentious Movie Reviews. He also worked in an improvised sketch comedy show, The Living Room on Comedy Central. Gill made his acting debut in ‘Noor’, a film by Sunhil Sippy, in the year 2017 alongside Sonakshi Sinha. In the same year, Gill launched his ‘Keep it Real’ on the Amazon video. In 2020, ‘Yours Sincerely’ was released on Netflix. |
