Career
Sana khan made her first acting debut in the low budget Hindi film “Yehi Hai High Society” in the year 2005. Then she started appearing in several ad films and television commercials. Her debut Tamil film “Silambattam”, produced by Lakshmi movie makers was released in December in the year 2008. She was praised for portraying the role of a tomboyish Brahmin village girl in the film “Silambattam”. She won ITFA Best New Actress Award for that film in the year 2009. Her next Tamil film, “Thambikku Indha Ooru” was released in March 2010. In the year 2011, she stepped into Kannada films. Later she played the role of the daughter of Danny Denzongpa in “Jai Ho” in March 2013. She did the film “Waja Tum Ho” which was a flop at Box Office India. She did a special appearance in “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” as Akshay Kumar’s girlfriend. Her upcoming film is “Tom, Dick and Harry 2”.
