Naved Siddiqui, popularly known as RJ Naved, is famous for his humor, amusing mimics, and comedy skills. Naved is an Indian radio Jockey, TV host, entertainer, and voice over artist. He is hugely popularly known for his show “Dilli ka Don” conducted on radio Mirchi 98.3 FM.

Career

Initially, hunting for jobs, he moved to Delhi and started working for Airtel mobile company as a customer service executive. Whenever any customer was angry, the phone was handed over to him. He would act like a 60-year-old man, thus automatically calming down the customer.

In 2000, radio Mirchi organized an RJ hunt program and he applied there. After a few auditions, he was the winner among 35,000 other contestants. Since then, he has been working with that station. He started his career as an RJ by hosting a show at night named “Dr. Love.” Soon after “Dr. Love,” he moved to host “Total Filmi.” Though he became a household name, he was still faceless to his fans.

In 2007, he started hosting the evening game from 5 PM TO 9 PM, “Bumper to Bumper.” He is continuing with this show and is now popularly known as “Sunset Samosa.” Over the years, Naved has been modulating five characters. New characters modulated by his voice include aunty, angrez chale gaye aur chor gaye kawali, etc.

The most unique and loved element of the show is “Mirchi Murga.” It is a call based prank in which Naved changes his voice to call and irritate people. In this show, RJ Naved pranked on Vidya Balan, Ravina Tandon, and many more. He believes that pranking the common man is difficult, but it enhances his communication with his listeners.

• Entertainment is fun and enjoyable but sometimes might hurt. He was shamed for his insensitive prank on a guy about finding his lost dog.
• He was ignored and thrown out for speaking ill about Hindus in the Muslim area and Muslims at the Hindu temple area. But the main aim of this act was to spread love among religions, and he got very heart-warming responses.
