Karishma Tanna is an Indian actress who has worked on films and shows, modelled and as an anchor. Her debut was in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which aired in 2001. She is predominantly known for roles in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si and the biopic Sanju. Her first Bollywood film was Suneel Darshan’s Dosti: Friends Forever in 2006. Her most recent and shining achievement is being the first female contestant to win the Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, a reality and stunt television series.

| Controversies | • She gained significant attention as one of the most controversial contestants on Bigg Boss 8 (2014), often engaging in heated verbal spats with fellow housemates. • In 2017, she was initially set to appear on &TV’s comedy show Comedy Dangal, but was replaced at the last moment by Surbhi Jyoti, reportedly due to her tantrums even before the show began. • Later, in March 2018, Delhi-based event manager Manas Katyal issued her a legal notice accusing her of cheating, threatening, blackmailing him and his driver, and failing to perform at a wedding reception in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, which allegedly caused him a loss of ₹10 lakhs. Karishma, however, rejected these claims, asserting that she had been misled about the venue.
