Bejan Jehanjir Daruwalla

Bejan Jehanjir Daruwalla was a renowned Indian Professor and Astrologer. He was born on 11 July 1931 in a Parsifamily in Mumbai. Bejan Daruwalla was a passionate devotee of Lord Ganesha. He completed his schooling at St. Xavier’s High School, Mirzapur, Ahmedabad, followed by graduation from S.N.D Arts College Ahmedabad. He completed his further studies at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. His wife, Late Gooli Daruwalla, was also a tarot card reader. He had two sons, Nastur and Fardun, and also a daughter Nazreen. Nastur is following the path of his parents and is also an astrologer.

His favorite actors were Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan, while his favorite actress was Karishma Kapoor. His favorite singers were Bhimsen Joshi and Pandit Jasraj. He had diabetes, so he avoided eating sweets. He had a cheerful personality and loved listening to music. In one of his interviews, he said that one of his most heart-warming experiences was when the 14th Dalai Lama asked him to put his hand on Dalai Lama’s head at the Indian International Centre, Delhi. He predicted in April 2020 that the Corona pandemic would end from the world between June 2020 and September 2020.

Bejan Daruwalla passed away on 29 May 2020. He was 89 years old when he took his final breath. He was on a ventilator for a week in Apollo Hospital before his death.
